Built in 2000 there are 16 self contained apartments, 4 one bedroom and 12 spacious two bedroom, all with balconies and magnificent views over Christchurch city, and beyond to the southern alps. Rhodes on Cashmere is certified as an accredited member of the Retirement Villages Association. |

The apartments are architecturally designed and are beautifully appointed featuring double glazing, full size kitchens, spacious ensuite bathrooms with level shower access, private balconies off bedroom and living rooms and nurse call buttons for emergencies.
There is lift access to the 4 floors and basement car parks. Facilities include garage workshop, cafeteria and sunny terrace, hair salon, recreation room and library. |

Additional care services are also available on an ‘as needed’ basis. This includes meals, laundry, cleaning and nursing services.
The Friends of Rhodes support group of volunteers maintain a keen interest in the welfare of apartment residents and provide afternoon tea for residents and guests in the spacious cafeteria twice a week. They also organize activities such as indoor bowls and card/scrabble sessions on a weekly basis. |

The apartments, like most retirement villages, operate on a Licence to Occupy basis. Rhodes has a Disclosure Statement which details financial and legal information, and residents interests are represented by an independent statutory supervisor. Residents must be at least 65 years of age. The price of the Licence to Occupy varies depending on the size of the unit.
