A Christchurch retirement community offering independent living and aged care
The first thing everyone notices about Rhodes on Cashmere is the panorama. Wonderful views can be enjoyed from the on-site Rhodes Café, outdoor areas and many of the apartments. The community’s social life is supported by a programme of guest speakers, community events and outings. For residents’ hobbies and wellbeing, there are vege gardens, a gym, fitness classes, library, workshop and hair salon. Nearby, the Purau Reserve has lovely walking tracks.
Around the Cashmere neighbourhood, there are clubs for bowls, tennis and croquet. Each suite has an ensuite bathroom, built-in storage and ergonomically-designed furniture. Many have a kitchenette. Personal and clinical care services are tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences. There are standard, premium and deluxe options available.

Rhodes on Cashmere is a boutique over-65 community that makes the most of its hill location. It has beautiful communal spaces, including Rhodes Café, a luxurious lounge area, curated courtyards and an exercise room.

If you need full-time help to live your best life, Rhodes on Cashmere has a purpose-built care centre with shared dining, living/lounge rooms, as well as beautiful sheltered outdoor spaces. The care suite accommodation offered within the centre is suitable for people who need rest home or hospital-level care. The centre uses Arvida’s Attitude of Living Well approach, with residents living with a smaller group of people, sharing meals and activities together.
